Biography

• Magdalena was born about 1799, probably in the village of Niechanowo, Poland. She is the daughter of Michal Cieslewicz. Her mothers first name was probably Catherine. Magdalena married Andreas Torzyk in 1818, in Niechanowo. They had at least 8 children, daughters Marianna who would marry Joannes Przybylski, and Francisca, born 1836, who passed away at age 2 months, Barbara who passed away at 12 years, Agnes who passed away at 1 year. A son Joannes, was born 1838, he passed away in 1839. Magdalena passed away April 12, 1869, Koreczno, Modliszewo, Gnesen, Posen, Prussia, Germany, now known as Gniezno, Poland. Her death record state her son in-law Joannes Przybylski as the informant.
