Biography
Charles was born in 1822.[1]
In 1861 he is living in Church Lane Faringdon, married to Hannah and they have 2 children. He is a Bootmaker, employing one other man in his business.[2]
In 1861 he is living in Newport Street Swindon, married with 3 children at home and is a Boot & Shoe maker who employs 5 people in his business.[3]
In 1871, he and his wife & children are living in Swindon, Wiltshire and he is a boot and shoemaker.[1]
He is still in Newport Street, running a business as a boot & shoe maker in 1881with a number more children![4]
He died in 1899, still in Swindon.[5]
