Biography
Norris Garfield Clapp, the son of Ruby (Bowley) Clapp and Ernest Victor Clapp, was born in 1922 in Inglewood, Victoria.[1]
He married Doris Gwendoline Sayle in 1947.[2]
Norris Clapp died on 14 June 1964 in Long Gully, aged 42.[3][4] He was buried on 17 June 1964 in Bendigo Public Cemetery.[5] There is a memorial in the Victorian Garden of Remembrance.[3]
Research Notes
The birth register gave his first name as Morris, but all other records have Norris, so it has been assumed here that Morris was an error.
