Eustace was born in 1870 in India. He was the son of civil servant Alan Arthur Clarke-Jervoise and his second wife, Helen Jane Cruickshank. Eustace, son of Alan Arthur Clarke & Helen Jane Jervoise, was born on 14 March 1870 and baptised on 16 April 1870 in Bombay Presidency, India.[1][2]
He was a Captain in the 2nd Battalion South Lancashire Regiment.[3]
Eustace's father passed away in 1908 and Eustace was in a record relating to his probate on 12 March 1908 in London, England.[4]
In 1911 he succeeded his uncle as 6th Baronet Clarke-Jervoise of Idsworth in the county of Hampshire (est. 1813 in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom), giving him the title "Sir."
Eustace's death (age 46) was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1916 in the Catherington district.[5] Eustace died on 11 May 1916 and was buried in 1916 in Chalton, East Hampshire District, Hampshire, England.
Eustace died on 11 May 1916 and his estate passed probate on 25 August 1916 in Hampshire, England.[6]
He does not appear to have ever married and certainly left no male heirs. On his death the baronetcy passed to his half-brother Dudley.
