Biography
John was born in 1876. He is the son of Patrick Clay and Mary O'Neill.
He emigrated to Scotland, marrying Sarah McLaughlin in 1896.
After her passing, he emigrated to the US, marrying Elizabeth Shanley (nee Dougherty) in 1920.
He passed away in 1960.
