Herbert was born in 1881.
He was a farmer in the Tasman district.
Herbert Close passed away in 1952.
He was interred at St. John's Cemetery, Edward Street, Wakefield, Tasman District, Tasman, New Zealand. Apart from his two sons, Herbert & Philip, he also mentions two daughters in his will. These were Ella Jean Close and Vera May Close. His executrix was his wife Catherine.
