Mary Hunt (Clough) Russell was born on March 24, 1908 in Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, United States, daughter of Albert Lucien Clough (1869–1940) and Sara (Hunt) Clough (1873–1923).^{[1] [2]}

Mary had a sister, Elizabeth Louise (Clough) Marston (1906–1978).

Mary died in November, 1984 in Manchester, aged 76.^{[3] [4]}

In 1910, Mary (2) was living in household of Albert L Clough (40) in Manchester Ward 2, Hillsborough with her parents, Albert L (40) and Lara H (37); her sister, Elizabeth L (3); and Rusie Laverdiere (23). ^[5]
