Stanley Osborne Cobby was born on 13th July 1906 in Saint Kilda, Victoria, Australia. He was the youngest son of Arthur Cobby and Alice Nash. [1]
Too young to enlist in The Great War, Stanley ensured that he got to serve his country in the Second World War; enlisting on 26th May 1941, discharged 15th October 1943. He was a member of the 2/5th Australian Ordnance Stores Company. [2] [3]
Stanley married Florence Henson in 1921 in Victoria. [4]
Aged 42 years, he passed away in 1948 in Victoria. [5]
