Biography
Martha was born on 1 June 1809 and baptized 4 months later in Opelousas, Louisiana. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Corkran/Cochran and Celeste Prudhomme. [1]
She married Andre Mayer on 13 Dec 1822 in Opelousas, Louisiana. [2]
After the death of Andre, she married John Steen on 25 July 1844 in Opelousas, Louisiana. [3]
She died in 1885 and was buried in the Mineral Cemetery in Bee County, Texas. [4]
