Biography
Alfred was born in 1780 to parents Albert and Elizabeth (Gardner) Coffin.
He married Pegga (Margaret "Peggy") Chase in 1805.
Alfred was a mariner and whaler. He died at sea in 1810 "coming from Cape de Verde."
