McLEAN - Edith Mae Crutchley, 82, of O'Fallon, Mo., formerly of McLean, died Saturday (June 21, 2003) at St. Joseph Hospital West, Lake St. Louis, Mo.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Baue Funeral Home and Memorial Chapel, 3950 West Clay St., St. Charles. Burial will be in St. Charles Memorial Gardens, St. Charles. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Harvester Church of the Nazarene. Memorials may be sent by way of the funeral home.
She was born June 12, 1921, in McLean, a daughter of Robert W. and Betty Elizabeth Long Coffman. She married Carolton Crutchley. He survives.
Other survivors include one son, Harold Dean (Sharon) Crutchley, Bloomington; two daughters, Carolyn Jean (Neil) Reisch, O'Fallon; and Edith Catherine (Harold) Ellis, St. Peters, Mo.; 21 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and many great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Coleman Coffman; and two sisters, Mattie Bowman; and Jennie Davison.
She was a grill cook at the Dixie Truck Stop and Noah's Ark in McLean for 30 years.
Edith devoted all of her life to church and family.
