Biography
John was born 5 May 1924 in Salem, Harrison County, West Virginia.[1] He was the son of Carl Johnson Cogar and Emza Hermance Hammond.
He married first Florence Irene Blackwell on 17 September 1944 in Clarksburg, Harrison County, in a ceremony performed by John F. Nelson, Minister of the Gospel.[2]
He married second Mary (—?—).[3]
John died on 23 February 2006 in Las Cruces, Dona Ana County, New Mexico,[4] and he is buried in the Fort Hill Cemetery in Auburn, New York.[5]
