Alfred was born in 1858, the son of George Coleman and Esther Sloss (nee Aland).[1]
He married Jane Quinney in 1887.[2]
He passed away in 1918[3] and was buried in Mararewa Cemetery, Tapawera, Tasman District, New Zealand.[4]
