Biography

George was born in 1891 in Nottinghamshire, England. He was the son of Edward Atter Collin and Lucy Hannah Watson.

In the 1901 census George (age 9) was the son of Edward A Collin in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England.^[1]

He appeared in the Census of Canada in 1911.^[2]

On 26 June 1918, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada he married Josephine McGuire. They had 5 children:

• Marion Elizabeth Collin 1919–2014
• McGuire Edward Collin 1920–1993
• George Kennedy Collin 1922–1991
• Merton Altham Collin 1924–1993
• Lloyd Winston Collin 1925–2009
