Biography

Patrick Joseph born 8 December 1881 in Longford, County Longford son of Patrick, master of the Longford workhouse, and Susan Jane (McCormick) Collumb. [1]

Patrick J. Collumb 18 yrs clerk border with Frederick in 1901 in house 39 in Longwood Avenue (Wood Quay, Dublin). [2]

Patrick Columb 54 yrs clerk, son Patrick Joseph 29 yrs, Eva Mary 25 yrs, Donald James 23 yrs, Richard Vincent 21 yrs, Susanna 16 yrs, niece Susanna Burns 18 yrs resided in 1911in house 2 in Frankfort Place (Rathmines & Rathgar West, Dublin). [3]

Patrick Colum, journalist, residing 2 Frankfort place, Rathmines, son of Patrick Colum, clerk married on 23 July 1912 at RC church Sandymount to Mary Catherine Maguire, teacher residing 104 Lintonville rd, Sandymount, dau of Charles Maguire, farmer. [4]

Padraic Colum 37 yrs old, jourmalist residing 166 W 79st NYC registered on 12 Sep 1918 for WW1 draft, nearest relative aunt Josephine Collumb, Highland Ave, Pittsburgh. [5]

Padraic died in Enfield, Connecticut, age 90, and was buried in St. Fintan's Cemetery, Sutton.
