In the 1900 federal census of Plaquemines Parish, 2nd Ward, Paul Coniglio heads a household in Belair Village. He was born July 1869, is 30 years old, born in Italy. He has been married 3 years to Catharina, 29, born in February 1871. She has had 2 children, 1 living. At home is their daughter Lena, born in April 1898, age 2, born in Louisiana. Paul and Catharina both emigrated in 1889. Paul is a farm laborer.

In the 1910 federal census of New Orleans, 1st Precinct, taken 22 April, Paolino Coniglio, 40, heads a household at 523 St. Philip St. with his wife Katarina, 30. It is the first marriage for them both; they’ve been married for 12 years. Katarina has had 4 children, 3 living. Both born in Italy. Paolino emigrated in 1869 and his wife in 1895. He is a retail produce operator working on his own account. Their children at home are Lena, 11, Rocco, 9, and Josephine, 5, all born in Louisiana.

Lena marries Leoluca Trumbatore, son of Salvatore Trumbatore and Lucia Streva, from Corleone, on 18 April 1923 in New Orleans.[4] Leoluca and Lena's parents were all born in Corleone.
Leoluca and Antonina, who is called Lena, have two known children: Catherine (c. 1921), named after her maternal grandmother, and Samuel Joseph (c. 1924).
In the 1930 federal census of New Orleans, taken 8 April, Louis Trombatore, 42 (b. 1888), heads a household at 2339 Ursuline Ave with his wife, Loma, 32 (b. 1898), and children Catherine, 9 (b. 1921), and Sam, 6 (b. 1924). Louis first married at age 31 and his wife at 21 (11 ya; m. 1919). Louis was born in Italy and emigrated in 1910. He is a naturalized citizen. His wife and children were born in Louisiana. Louis is a macaroni salesman.[5]
In the 1932 NOLA city directory: Louis Trombatore, trav (traveling), lives at 2339 Ursulines Av.[6]
In the 1940 federal census of New Orleans, taken 17 April, Louis Trombatore, 52, heads a household at 3036 Ursuline. He owns his home, worth $6,000. With him are his wife, Lena, 41, and children Catherine, 19, and Sam J., 16. Louis was born in Italy and his wife and children in Louisiana. Louis is the proprietor of a barroom.[7]
Catherine, age 25 (b. 1921), marries John A. Paternostro, age 27 (b. 1919), on 26 February 1946 in Orleans Parish, Louisiana.[8]
Samuel Joseph marries Edna May Delahoussaye in June 1950 in New Orleans, LA.[9]
Leoluca and Antonina appear on the manifest of the Vulcania, sailing from Naples on 25 July 1953 and arriving in New York on 6 August.[10]
In the 1956 city directory for NOLA:
Louis Trombatore and wife Lena A. live at 3036 Ursulines Av.
Samuel J. Trombatore and his wife, Edna. He is an office manager for Al Delahoussaye Ins Agency and lives at 3036 Ursulines Ave.[11]
Leoluca dies on 10 January 1963 in New Orleans.[12]
Lena dies nine months later at age 65 on 8 October 1963 in New Orleans.[1]
