Biography

The daughter of Clinton Conley and Dorothy (Davies) Conley, Doris Conley was born in Cannon Falls Township, Minnesota in 1901.^{[citation needed]} By 1905, her family lived in Le Sueur, Minnesota, where her father worked as a dentist.^[1][2][3] Doris Conley married Russell Merle Kraft (1897-1967), the son of Samuel Kraft and Julia Margaret Sonderman, marrying in Le Sueur, Minnesota on August 24, 1921^{[citation needed]} and having three children together:

1. Dorothy Margaret Kraft (1922-2014)
2. Robert Conley Kraft (1926-2022)
3. James Russell Kraft (1932-2012)

They made their home in St. Johns, Michigan, where her husband had opened a dental practice.^[4][5][6] Doris Kraft passed away in St. Johns, Michigan at the age of 97^[7] and is buried at Mount Rest Cemetery there.^[8]
