Biography

Hans Constien was born at Glüsingen in 1659 as son of Helneke and Margarethe Constien.[1] On 17 September 1686, he married Maria Bock, who inherited farm no. 1 in Linden after her brther's death in 1685. Hans took over the farm, and from their marriage, five children issued. Widowed in May of 1693, he married on 1 December of that same year Margaretha Bunge of neighbouring farm no. 2, with whom he had another nine children. He died at the farm on 10 March 1726.[2]
