Obituary
"PERSONAL." Warwick Daily News (Qld. : 1919 -1954) 5 July 1919: page 4.
The many friends of Mr James Coogan,of Dragon-street, will regret to learn that he passed away at Kanimbla Private Hospital yesterday afternoon.
The late Mr. Coogan, who was born in Kilkenny, Ireland, and who was aged 39 years, had been suffering from a rather, serious complaint. With his parents he came to Australia about 26 or 28 years ago, and he had only been in the country a few years when his father passed away. Mr. Coogan found employment in his manhood days with the railway department, where he was regarded as a splendid workman and a fine comrade to those he was daily brought in contact with.
Mr. Coogan leaves, to mourn their loss his mother, two married sisters, and three brothers. To them we extend our deepest sympathy. One of the brothers , it may be mentioned, has just returned from the front. The funeral is summoned to leave the residence of his sister, Mrs. Remilton, Dragon-street, at 3 o'clock to-day for St. Mary's church and then to the Warwick cemetery. The members of the H. A.C.B. Society, of which the deceased was a brother are also invited to attend the funeral to-day. [4]

Hi Bob, I have updated James' profile and added his birth record and an obituary from the newspaper. It mentioned a brother who had just returned from the Front. I did a search and found his details which I have added in a research note section on James' profile incase you want to create a profile for him, Patrick Coogan. It appears that James's parents were probably married and their childre were born at Kilkenny, Ireland.

I found a birth for a Mary Coogan in 1880 at Kilkenny, Ireland
