Frances Gertrude Cook (married name Garrett') was born in 1887 in Essendon, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Martha (Woods) Cook and Robert George Cook.^[1]

She married Percival Theodore Garrett in 1916 in Victoria.^[2] They had a daughter.^{[citation needed]}

Frances died in 1980 in Brighton, Victoria, aged 92 years.^[3]
