Biography

Joel was the son of Isaac III & Hannah or Martha (Cook) Cook^[1]

He fought along side his father in the Revolutionary War. In 1812 he was a distinguished officer under General Harrison, in many hard battles with the Indians. He was at Flatbush, N. Y.

He married Rebecca Hart on 1 Jan 1784 at Wallingford, New Haven, Connecticut.^[2]

According to Andrews, he died at Deer Park, Long Island.
