In 1920 she was living in Beloit, Mitchell, Kansas.[5] The household included William H Cook age 50 born in Iowa, wife Alice B Cook age 43 born in Iowa, son Lyman D Cook age 23 born in Iowa, daughter Ruth A Cook age 20 born in Iowa and mother-in-law Sarah J Smith age 78 born in Canada. William was a physician.
Ruth Alice Cook and Earl Kansas Hillbrand were married before 11 February 1922 when Earl was living in Mitchell, South Dakota and applied for a passport.[6]
In 1930 she was living in Wichita, Sedgwick, Kansas.[7] The household included Earl K Hillbrand age 35 born in Kansas, wife Ruth Hillbrand age 31 born in Iowa and daughter Heloise Hillbrand age 6 born in Kansas. Earl was a dean at the municipal university.
In 1940 she was living in Ward 4, Wichita, Wichita City, Sedgwick, Kansas.[8] The household included Earl K Hillbrand age 45 born in Kansas, wife Ruth A Hillbrand age 40 born in Iowa, daughter Heloise Hillbrand age 16 born in Kansas and mother-in-law Alice B Cook age 64 born in Iowa. Earl was a college teacher at the municipal university.
She died 26 Feb 1974 in Wilmette, Cook, Illinois.[9][10]
She is buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Beloit, Mitchell County, Kansas.[11]
