Samuel A. Cooper, sixty-seven, 780 E. Main St., Ephrata, died Tuesday at 3 a.m. at his home after a lengthy illness.
Before his retirement several years ago he was a poultry dealer. The business is now operated by his son, George F. Cooper.
Born in Ephrata Twp., a son of the late George F. and Cora Wood [Good?] Cooper, he attended Bergstrase Lutheran Church.
Surviving are is wife Mandilla M. Bowers Cooper, a son, George F., Ephrata; a daughter, Fern I., wife of Jonas H. Martin, Cap; and three grandchildren. He was the last of his immediate family. [1]
