Biography

Birth and baptism

Mary Corbin was born on or before 6 April 1662. She was baptized on that day at Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts Bay Colony. Her parents were Clement and Dorcas Corbin.^[1]

Tripletts: "1st Church of Boston: Thomas, John and sister Mary Corbin (were all born) 6 day 2 month 1662 in Boston, Massachusetts (mother) Dorcas Corbin." ^[2] This record suggest that her father was deceased.

Marriage

Dec 13 1688 "Nathaniel Wiet of Dorchester was married to Mary Corbin of New- Cambridge, ^[3]

Their marriage of 13 Dec 1688 is also recorded at Milton, Massachusetts.^[4]

Nathaniel and Mary had at least 1 child together:

• Waitstill Wyat, b. 3 Jan 1692, Dorchester, MA. ^[5]; d. 12 Mar 1729; m. Peter Lyon (1686-1752) 13 Feb 1712.

Research Notes Mother Dorcas Corbin should not be confused with originating from the Brookfield, Massachusetts Clement Corbin family which included several Dorcus Corbin's all around the same time as this profile. The Clement and Dorcus (Buckmaster) Corbin family removed to Woodstock, Windham, CT.
