Biography
Ann, baptized 17 March 1725/6 in St. Michael Parish, Barbados, was the daughter of Isaac Cordes and Eleanor Coker.[1]
She married Dr. William Keith, and they had children: Eleanor (d. young), William, Ann, Alexander, John, Mary, and Charlotte.[2] William Keith died in August 1777.[3]
In February 1783 she petitioned the legislature, asking that the property where she lived, which belonged to her brother-in-law James Keith, not be confiscated.[4]
Ann died 3 March 1787. Her obituary incorrectly calls her Esther but identifies her as the widow of Dr. William Keith.[5]
