Biography

Ireland Native
Chambré Corker was born in Ireland.

Chambré Corker was born about 1802. He was the eldest son of Chambre Corker and Caroline B Thornhill.

He lived at Downdaniel, County Cork, Ireland and at Cor Castle, Innishannon, County Cork, Ireland.

His first wife is unknown. He married, secondly, Anna Victoria or Victoire Graves on 18 March 1825 in St. Catherine's Church, Rincurran, Kinsale, Cork, Ireland[1]:

Marriage Notice - TC dated Monday 21 March 1825,:
on Friday 18th inst in St. Catherine's Church near Kinsale, by the Very Rev. Dean Graves, Chambre Corker junr Esq, eldest son of Chambre Corker Esq of Downdaniel to Anna Victoria 2nd dau of Major General Graves of Frankfort.[2]

They went on to have two children.

He may have passed away on 14 December 1835:

Cork Constitution 22 December 1835, page 3:
DIED.
On Monday, the 14th instant, at Ryecourt in this county, Chambre Corker, Esq., eldest son of Chambre Corker, Esq., Innishannon. The early removal of this young gentleman justly endeared to his friends, and beloved family, for the gentleness of his manners and the kindness of disposition, and so lately in the prime of youth and health, must speak a solemn warning to the most thoughtless. To his deeply afflicted widow and family it is an inestimable consolation that during the progress of his illness, his mind was supported and cheered by the hopes and joys of the Gospel - and that over weakness, pain, and death, he was enabled to triumph, by faith in a crucified Saviour.[3]

He was buried at Ryecourt, County Cork.
