Hannah (Cornelius) Morcom was born in Marystow, Devon, England.

Hannah was baptised in Devon on 16th December 1806. She was the daughter of Nicholas and Agnes Cornelius.^[1]

She married Richard Morcom in 1826 in Marystowe, Devon.^[2]

In the 1851 census Hannah (age 44) was the wife of Richard Morcom in St Agnes, Cornwall, England.^[4]

Research Notes

No definitive place and death have been found for Hannah. The closest online record is for a Hannah Morcom (age 82) whose death was registered in the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1890 in the Falmouth district.^[7] However no further details to clarify this as the right person are available on line and it is known other Hannah Morcoms of a similar age were in Cornwall around this time. We do not know if or why Hannah may have travelled to or moved to Cornwall from Denbighshire.
