Biography
Joanna was baptised February 23, 1789 in Jacobstow, Cornwall, England. She is the daughter of William Cory and Mary Ayers.[1]
She had an illegitimate son, John Congdon Cory who was baptised on May 28, 1815 in Week St Mary, Cornwall.[2]
Several years later, she married widower Peter Blake in 1833 and they had 1 daughter, Elizabeth Ann Blake.
Joanna died at the age of 88 and was buried May 22, 1874 in Week St Mary, Cornwall.[3]
