Biography

Francesco Cosentino is the son of Antonino Cusentino and Maria Vitrano. I estimate he is born around 1763, twenty years before his first marriage.

Francesco marries twice, first to Carmela Ferraro, daughter of the late Vincenzo Ferraro and Marianna Gristina, on 6 October 1783. His parents have died by this time.[1]

Francesco and Carmela have at least two children, Maria (c. 1785) and Antonino (c. 1791).

I estimate Maria is born within a few years of her parents' marriage. She is named after her paternal grandmother.

I estimate Antonino is born a couple years before his father remarries, indicating that his mother has died. He is named after his paternal grandfather.

Francesco remarries to Antonina Cascio, who is also a widow, on 18 February 1792.[2]

Maria marries Bernardo Giaccone on 26 November 1808.[3]

Antonino marries Salvatrice Cascio on 25 January 1813.[4] Antonina and Salvatrice are of no known relation.
