William Henry Couch was born on 28 January 1852 at Dunmore, Kiama, New South Wales, Australia [1], the son of James Couch (1790-1980) and Mary Wheatley (c.1819-1886).
He married Mary Jane Henry on 11 December 1872 at Kiama, New South Wales, Australia [2] and their children were Eliza Couch, Amy Henrietta Jane Couch, Wilhelmena Emily Couch, Edith Evangeline Couch, Gertrude May Couch, William Lea Couch, Ethel B Couch & Ina Beatrice Couch.
William died in the Sydney Hospital as a result of injuries received when he fell from a building at Kiama, 28 September 1914 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia [3]. An Inquest was held in the City Coroner's Court, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on 6 October 1914[4].
