Biography
Florence was born in 1896. She was the daughter of John Couchman and Sarah Skates. Florence Beatrice's birth was registered in the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1896 in the Islington district.[1] Florence Beatrice, daughter of John Benjamin Couchman and Sarah Ann Couchman, was baptised on 15 January 1896 in St Silas, Pentonville, Islington, England.[2]
In the 1911 census Florence (age 15), Machine Feeder, was a stepdaughter in the household of Frederick Rushbrook at 14 North Avenue, Islington, London N, Islington, London, England.[3]

Couchman-265 and Couchman-163 do not represent the same person because: Couchman 265 was the daughter of Benjamin Couchman, and died aged five. Couchman 163 was the child of John Couchman, Benjamin's eldest son, and was named after the deceased Florence Couchman.
