Biography

Arthur Stanley Court 21 April 1884 Norwood, Surrey, and baptized at Holy Saviour Croydon, with his younger brother Gilbert, on 23 June 1888. Arthur Stanley Court carpenter, married Emily or Emilie A Kemmerle 1882 -1942. Living with his parents at Croydon, Surrey in 1891, in Canada in 1901. In 1911 Arthur 27 was a builder living in South Vancouver, British Columbia, with Emily 29 of German parentage, Arthur V 2 born in Nova Scotia and Albert M 3 months born in BC. In 1920 Arthur S 36, his wife Emily 37 from Iowa of German parents, and four grandsons, born in California, Arthur V 11, Gilbert M 9, Earl J 7 and Leonard D 5, and his parents Albert 57 and Marian 56, all lived at Livingston City, Merced, California. Arthur died at Merced on 7 Dec 1956. Four children: Arthur Vincent 1908 -2000, Albert Martin 1910 -1956, Earl John 1912 -1992 and Leonard David 1914 -1985.
