Biography

George was born in Cornwall. His wife was Mary Jane Wells.

In the 1881 census George (age 33), Iron Miner, was the married head of household at 4 Cobden Street, Dalton in Furness, Lancashire, England.^[1]

George's death (age 35) was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1882 in the Ulverston district.^[2]

The death certificate indicates George died at 4 Cobden Street Dalton. James Henry Wells, brother in law, was the informant and was lodging with the family in 1881.^[3]
