Charles Cowdery was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)
Charles Stephen Cowdery was born on April 30, 1869 in Hartley, New South Wales, Australia.[1] [2] He was baptized on June 20, 1869 in Sydney, New South Wales.[1]
Charles (32) married Edith Susan Shepherd (30) (born in 1871 in Penrith, New South Wales; daughter of David Shepherd and Jane Susan (Bell) Shepherd) on March 22, 1902 in Ashfield, New South Wales. [3] Their children were:
- Edith Isabel Cowdery (1903– )
- David Lindesay Cowdery (1908–1962)
Charles died on February 10, 1940 in Wentworth Falls, New South Wales, aged 70. He was buried in Wentworth Falls Cemetery, Wentworth Falls.[2]
