1850 Census:Allen J. Cox, age 41, lived in Pulaski, Kentucky, with his wife, Hannah, 38, and their children, John, 18; Margret, 16; Charles P., 14; William, 12; Elizabeth, 8; Susan, 6; Christopher, 5; Nancy, 3; and Marcellus, 1. Allen;s occupation was farmer, and he owned real estate valued at $600. All family members were born in Kentucky. Charles, William, and Elizabeth attended school. [3]
