Evelyn Marie (Cox) Forrester, 96, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Friday, December 23, 2016 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was born December 28, 1919 in Miller County, Missouri, the daughter of the late Wade and Josephine (Bunch) Cox. On December 12, 1936 in Versailles, Missouri she was united in marriage to Bertie Herman Forrester who preceded her in death on December 1, 1985.

Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Evelyn was a lifetime member of Blue Springs Baptist Church of Eldon, MO.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO. Funeral Service will be Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Blue Springs Baptist Church of Eldon, MO with Pastor Lonnie Simpson officiating. Interment will follow at Dooley Cemetery.

Memorials in her name are suggested to Blue Springs Baptist Church.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
