Biography

Jennie Erwin Craighead was born in 1847 and died in 1930 From Find A Grave:

• Jennie was the daughter of Dr. Joseph Erwin Craighead and Phereby Rachel Jackson Whyte. Jennie married William Allison Bunton on March 3, 1869 in Plaquemine, Iberville Parish Louisiana, they had four known children, John Craighead, Daniel F. Carter, William Allison and Charles Erwin. Jennie was the one that changed the spelling of the family name from Bunton to Buntin. Jennie and William are buried in the Carter Mausoleum.

On the death certificate of their son, Charles, both William and Jennie are listed as parents.
