Biography

Frederick Charles Crease was born in 1868. He was the son of Edwin Crease and Alice Minifie. [1]

BIRTH.
On the 22nd inst., at Cuba-street, the wife of Mr. E. H. Crease, of twins, son and daughter. [2]

Frederick was the managing director of E. H. Crease and Son. He was elected as a representative on the Parliamentary Industrial Vigilance Committee and was Vice-President of the Wellington Industrial Association.

In 1902, he married Rebecca Klee.

A quiet but pretty wedding took place at Winchester, South Canterbury, on Tuesday, 18th ult. (says a Southern paper), when Mr. F. C. Crease, of Wellington, was married , to Miss Rebecca Klee, of Winchester. The Rev. J. M. Adcock, assisted by thd Rev. T. Farley, conducted the service. St. John's Chiirch was prettily decorated for the occasion. The bride was dressed in white silk, handsomely trimmed. She carried a very pretty shower bouquet.[3]

He died in 1925. [4]

The death occurred of Mr F. C. Crease, after a long illness. He was born and educated in Wellington. After spending some years in Sydney, he returned to Wellington, and on the occasion of his father’s death took up the management of his business (E. H. Crease and Co.). This business became the Windsor Manufacturing Company, with which he has been connected up to He death. He was well known in bowling circles. [5]

He is buried in Karori cemetery. [6]
