Annie Creasey was born on 8 Sep 1912 in Ticehurst, Sussex, England to George Edward Creasey and Mabel Alice Watts.[1] She was baptised on 15 Dec 1912 in Ticehurst.[2]
Her husband died in 1940 during World War II although she did not learn of his death until the next year as reported in the newspaper:
KILLED ON ACTIVE SERVICE.--- Mrs Dodge, 16, Osmer's Hill, has heard that her husband, Pte. Charles Henry Dodge, Sussex Regiment, is reported killed on active service in May last year. Besides his widow he leaves four children.
Annie married William Kemp in the first quarter of 1952 in Lewisham, London.[6]
She passed away about 1992.
