Beatrice Creighton was born in 1872 and her birth is registered at Headington, Oxfordshire, England, United Kingdom. [1] She was the first born child of Mandell Creighton and Louise Glehn.
It seems that Beatrice never married and spent a good part of her life in Madras, India where she was the Head Deaconess of St. Faith's House, Madras from 1914-1944. She founded St Faith's House as a religious house for women who worked among the Anglo-Indians.
She retired and returned to England during India's Independence Movement and settled in Cambridge. [2]
Beatrice Creighton died in March, 1953 (aged 80) at Cambridge, City of Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, United Kingdom and was buried in the Ascension Parish Burial Ground, Cambridge. [3]
