Biography

Catherine was born in 1852. She was the daughter of Jeremiah Cronin and Ellen Hurley. She passed away in 1912.

NOTE: The Children of William H Annowski (1852-1914) & Catherine Cronin (1852-1912) Were Probably Adopted. The reasoning for this theory is as follows.

• Daughter Ella appears to have been born in 1877 (although some sources give years after 1880), but is not listed with the family in 1880.
• Marie was born around 1896, but does not appear with her parents in the 1900 census. In the 1900 census, Catherine credits herself with one child, one living (which would be Ella, who is married, and lives elsewhere), even though Marie (who, again, is not listed) would have been 3 or 4.
• In 1910 census, Catherine reports having given birth to zero children (zero of them living), despite having Marie in her household, and having another daughter, Ella, elsewhere.
