Obituary. (1924, August 11). The Grenfell Record and Lachlan District Advertiser (NSW : 1876 - 1951), p. 1. http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article121648739 Obituary. Mr James Crosbie, whose death we briefly referred to last issue, was in business for some years as a butcher at Quandialla, but recently commenced business at Caragabal in the same capacity.Having caught a cold some three weeks previously, he was admitted to the hospital about nine days before his death, suffering from pneumonia ; daily enquiries elicited that he was progressing favourably, and his demise came as a great shock.Deceased was always of a cheerful disposition, a respected citizen, whose interests were in his own little town, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him, and especially by those who were on the track, for the late " genial Jim"' never saw a man go without a little meat. The sincerest sympathy is extended to his wife and family in their greaf loss. The business will be carried on by his son and daughter.
