John was the son of John Crosbie and Mary, the daughter of John Thompson of Waterford.[1]
He married Jane Moore the widow of James Farley in Antigua on 1st July 1775. They had daughters Elizabeth Garret Ross and Sarah, who died young.[2]
Jane died about the time of Sarah's birth in 1778. John died in 1814 and left most of this estate to his brother Charles' son John Gustavus Crosbie.[2]
