He was the son of Otway O'Conner Cuffe, 3rd Earl of Desart and Lady Elizabeth Lucy Campbell.[1]He was born on the 10th of July 1845.[1]He was married twice, firstly to Maria Emma Georgina Preston, daughter of Captain Thomas Henry Preston and Georgina Geneviève Louisa Campbell, on the 1st of June 1871.[1]At Leeds, Yorkshire, England.[2][3]He and Maria Emma Georgina Preston were divorced in 1878.[1]He married, secondly, Ellen Odette Bischoffsheim, daughter of Henri Louis Bischoffsheim, on the 27th of April 1881.[1]At St. George Hanover Square, London, England.[4]He died on the 15th of September 1898 at the age of 53,[1]citing Death, Falmouth, Cornwall, England.[5][6][7]
