Margaret M Modesitt CORY- Margaret M Modesitt, 73, Route 1, died at 10:57 pm Friday in Holly Hills Health Care Facility, Brazil. She was a former telephone operator. She was born Oct. 25, 1911, in Clay County to Herman Culler and Ida A Aldendorf Culler. Survivors include her husband, Charles E. "Pepper"; one brother, Paul Culler, Clay City; three half brothers, George Culler, Clay City, Richard Culler, Lewis, and Gene Culler, Bowling Green; five half sisters, Catherine Montgomery and Gladys Woodburn, both of Terre Haute, Harriett Dalton, Pimento, Gretchen Parkins, Brazil, and Dorothy Johnson, Kokomo; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ. Services are scheduled for 10 am Tuesday in Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, Clay City, with the Rev. Ross Kirkman officiating. Burial is in Oak Hill Cemetery, near Riley. Visitation is 4 to 9 pm, Monday and prior to services.
