Thomas Cunningham was baptised on 4 April 1842 in the parish of Temple, Midlothian, Scotland, United Kingdom, son of James Cunningham and Janet Syme.[1]
Thomas and Agnes Bell were married in 1862 in Carnwath, Lanarkshire, Scotland. [2]

- James Cunningham (4 July 1865 – 4 October 1901)
- Jessie Syme Cunningham (10 July 1871 – 18 April 1948)
