Biography

Faustin Cuppaidge was born in about 1674[1]. He was the son of Faustin Cuppage and Mary Lowe[1][2].

He was educated by Mr Jones in Dublin and matriculated at Trinity College Dublin on 6th March 1689/90 aged 15[1].

Faustin married Rebecca Berkley and had the following children[3]:

  1. George Cuppaidge (b. abt. 1698, d. abt. Jun 1756)
  2. Anne Cuppaidge
  3. Deborah Cuppaidge
  4. Catherine Cuppaidge (m. 1720 Captain David Fairfield, d. 23 Apr 1755)

His Last Will and Testament was dated 30th July 1724, in which he mentions his late wife Rebecca Cuppaidge (nee Berkley), his daughters Anne, Deborah and Catherine, his son George, his granddaughter Mary Redman, and his two grandsons Cuppaidge Fairfield and George Fairfield.

Faustin died some time before 23rd March 1726/27, when his Will was proved[3][4][5].
