Thomas was born about 1395. He was the son of John Curzon, and younger brother of John Curzon (abt.1390-1456).[1] He inherited property in Breadsall, Derbyshire.[2]
Thomas Curson esquire and Margaret his wife acquired one third of the manor of Bulcote, Nottinghamshire, from Robert Wednesley and Elizabeth his wife on 24 Apr 1429.[3] Thomas Curson was a justice of the peace and resident at Bulcote in 14 Henry VI (1435-36). In 26 Henry VI (1447-48) the manor of Bulcote was settled on Thomas and Margaret for life, and after their decease on Alvered Berwyk and Margaret his wife, daughter and heir of Thomas Curson.[4]
