The couple had 12 children: Sarah Margaret Cuss, George Ernest Cuss, Mary Jane Cuss, Eliza Ann Cuss, John Cuss, William Cuss, Eleanor Annie Cuss, Albert Cuss, Beatrice Alice Cuss, Ernest George Cuss, Isaac Cuss and Minnie Louise Cuss.[7][8]
