Quebec, Vital and Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1621-1967 Transcription of text in document 27 January 1877, we the priest-cure undersigned did baptize Joseph Alcide Theophilus, born the 23 of January of the legitimate marriage of Leandre Daigle, carpenter, and of Valerie Gagnier [mispelled] [Gagne] of this parish. The Godfather is Joseph Massi. The Godmother is Marguerite Daigle. None could sign.
